What We Do

Matthew's House Ministry is a faith-based, nonprofit ministry that reaches out to neighbors in need, centered on the North West Side of Grand Rapids, Michigan.

We are a place of support for neighbors who have no physical home, need a place for community, or need a helping hand as they work toward a life of greater stability. Matthew's House offers a place of refreshment for the body and spirit.

Our mission is to show Christ's love and promote human dignity by providing access to shower and laundry facilities and walking alongside our neighbors as they transition to success.
